Inaugurated in 2008, the Huron-Wendat Museum is an institution created to conserve and promote the heritage of the Wendat people. With a permanent exhibit Territories, memories, knowledge, an ongoing program of temporary exhibits, and numerous activities and themed workshops, the Museum carries out its mandate to teach and popularize the history, culture and art of the Wendat people and of other First Nations. For visitors, the Museum is also a gateway, leading to Wendake's numerous heritage sites such as Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Church, the Kabir Kouba waterfall and Tsawenhohi House.

The Museum boutique offers visitors a piece of history in the form of exclusive works of art and exhibit catalogues, along with souvenirs bearing the Museum logo.

Set beside the Akiawenrahk river, under the same roof as the First Nations Hotel and the La Traite restaurant, the Museum is bordered by thematic gardens that complete this enchanting setting.

We look forward to seeing you!
