Beausejour Travel Guide

Beausejour is a Canadian town of 2,823 inhabitants in the province of Manitoba. It is located 46 km northeast of Winnipeg near the Canadian Shield and the gateway to the Whiteshell Provincial Park. Other beautiful parks in the area include Chryplywy Wilderness Park, 25 hectares of natural woodland and prairie, a perfect destination for visitors interested in cross country skiing and hiking. The Park is located on the southwest outskirts of Beausejour.

The town is in the forefront of commercial and industrial expansion in Eastern Manitoba and is also the gateway to the Whiteshell - some of Manitoba’s best vacation lands. Its proximity to the beaches and to work centres like Winnipeg make Beausejour an attractive town to settle in.

Tourism has become an important economic tool for the community.
A state of the art racetrack is located in Beausejour, bringing motocross and snowmobile racing to Eastern Manitoba. The Canadian Power Toboggan Championships and Double B Rodeo are events that take place in the town. Beausejour’s recreational opportunities are unlimited and include an ice arena, 6- sheet curling rink, swimming pool, nature and ski trails, golf course plus a recreational hall.
