Beiseker Travel Guide

Only 70 km northeast of Calgary, but a world away from big city life, the town of Beiseker is the answer for anyone seeking a small, safe and friendly community within easy access of a major centre and international airport. From the pleasing downtown core to the endless Albertan skies, the residents love their town and country life.

Beiseker has a healthy economy based on serving the agricultural, oil and gas industries, as well as through its exceptional wheat harvests.
Activities include arena-based hockey, baseball and soccer, as well as a skate park. Youths between the ages of 9 and 21 can join the Beiseker 4-H beef and Multi Club.

Visitors are welcomed with a campground, motel and several B&B’s.
There are biking and walking trails. A farmer’s market features produce, fresh baked goods, hand painted crafts, and jewelry.

Since Beiseker is located at the intersection of three Provincial highways, it is a popular stop for travelers coming to and from Drumheller and Saskatoon. A small airport, located a few miles east of town along Alberta Highway 9, serves the community.
