The Saskatchewan First Nations Heritage Site is designed to serve as a resource for compiling and sharing information related to the language, culture, arts, history, and current affairs of the Dene, Woodland Cree, Swampy Cree, Plains Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota. It has been established to assist First Nations people, educators, students, government agencies, and the general public in gaining access to information pertaining to Saskatchewan First Nations.

This site is a work in progress, content will be added, edited and updated as the work progresses. The initial work for establishing this site has been funded in part by the Department of Canadian Heritage's Museums Assistance Program.
