Surrounded by fields, trees and fresh air the Logpile Lodge is situated on 160 private acres (~64 ha) overlooking the beautiful Bulkley Valley. Right between the lively town of Smithers and the superb 32,000 hectares Babine Mountain Provincial Park the Lodge is the ideal place to start exciting trips into the outdoors or stay at home relaxing, reading, unwinding with a glass of wine.
Breakfast - the most important meal of the day!
Home made bread with butter and jam, tea, coffee or hot chocolate, different juices, the typical Swiss Birchermuesli (with yogurt, oats and lots of fruit), cereals and milk, bacon and eggs, omelets, pancakes, french choose

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room from 7 to 9:30 am.
Put on your hiking boots or hop on a mountain bike and work the mountains surrounding Smithers, a voyage of discovery as you travel over mining exploration trails, wildlife routes and traditional trails traveled on by generations.

You can start right from our bed & breakfast up to the Malkow Lookout, on the trails through the fields. A 10 min. drive away: Babine Mountain Provincial Park, 20 min. drive: Hudson Bay Mountain Glacier and Twin Falls (spectacular in early summer), 40 min.
The smell of the trees still lingers in the hallways and each square inch of every log tells the story of the labour of love that was put into this building. Our guest rooms are cozy and comfortable, the ones on the lower floor come with log walls and posts, whereas the ones on the top floor have cathedral ceilings.
European style dinners are offered a couple times a week. Our goal is to prepare meals with quality ingredients and fresh produce (organic where possible), everything made from scratch and with a dash of love.
