Many guests visit our lodges not only as a destination but as a home base from which to visit the many other attractions in central Alberta. Our lodge is situated mid-way between Edmonton and Calgary. We are close to Jasper and Banff National Parks. A few hours from The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller to the East, or Lake Louise to the SW. Much closer is the West Edmonton Mall and the Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin. Dozens of lakes and golf courses pepper the maps of this area. Still, we're quite secluded in the forest, on the edge of a vast green belt stretching to the Canadian Rockies.
The Pine Lodge is a manufactured log construction with cathedral ceiling and master bed room in the loft overlooking the living room fire place and piano. This Lodge sleeps six and has a single fee for overnight guests up to that number. Behind this lodge is a lawn area with BBQ hot tub, and fire pit overlooking Kramer Pond.
The perfect place for a family reunion!
We recommend guests rent the entire lodge when planning events for larger groups so that facilities need not be "shared" with other groups. With family settings the lodge will sleep up to forty.

Gatherings & Weddings, Corporate Getaways and Spa & Scrapbooking Getaways have become very popular. Fourteen bedrooms (five of which are doubles), four kitchens, outdoor oven, eight baths, three hot tubs and two meeting rooms, a pond with boats and good fishing as well as numerous out door activities provide a unique setting for conferences, professional development and art groups.
Birding around Kramer Pond in west central Alberta is extraordinary! The pond itself is home to loons, osprey, blue heron and cormorants. In recent years nearby fields have become the nesting sites for sand hill cranes attesting to dramatic environmental and climatic changes.
Five Month Winter Leases
Mid October to Mid March special leasing rates are available for cabins at our lodge. These rates include all utility expenses, high speed internet and satellite TV.
