From Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada, Brent has produced art most of his life, moving into bronze sculpture about five years ago from wood and stone carving, and underwater photography. Most new works are of his favorite subjects, birds of prey, and are finely detailed, usually in chase, and with the outcome left to one’s imagination. Use of negative space and sense of movement has brought praise for his works, cast by the talented staff at Valley Bronze of Oregon. Pieces can be ordered reduced or enlarged, with colors and mounting customized to buyer specifications.
