Kenora

Kenora, Ontario is a major tourism destination in Canada. Located on the northern shoreline of beautiful Lake of the Woods, the city is alive year-round with a variety of festivals and events including Harbourfest during the August Long Weekend. Visit the local museum showcasing the history of the region or enjoy concerts under the tent at the harbourfront. Take a cruise on Lake of the Woods on the MS Kenora or visit Rushing River Provincial Park, only 20 minutes east of town.

Kenora is known for its waterfront beauty and there are 5 major beaches in town. The City of Kenora has a multitude of restaurants, hotels, motels or bed and breakfast accommodations. There are also many resort and campground choices in and surrounding the city. Kenora is close to the Manitoba boundary, and about 200 km east of Winnipeg.
