Tofield

The Canadian Town of Tofield is situated in central Alberta, located 68 km east of Edmonton, the provincial capital. Travelling highway 14 from Edmonton, visitors enjoy a scenic 40 minute drive to Tofield.

Beaverhill Lake is located northeast of Tofield and is a major attraction for visitors and residents of Tofield and surrounding Beaver County. Beaverhill Lake provides feeding and resting habitat for over 50,000 shorebirds each year.

Tofield's own Museum and Nature Centre are always worth a visit. Tofield is located close to provincial attractions such as Elk Island National Park, and Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Grazing, Wildlife & Provincial Recreation Area. Throughout the year, Tofield hosts numerous celebrations and events, such as the Spring Migration Festival, Canada Day, the Total Ry-Tof Slo-Pitch Tournament, and more.
